Fast, Gentle, Relief for Constipation and Stomach Distress
My Miracle Tea is a 100% Herbal tonic that is entirely within the Word of Wisdom. Gratefully and safely used by LDS members around the world. The pioneers would have loved this product!
Many of our LDS friends who come to this site have questions about this herbal drink and the Word of Wisdom.
Is this product against the Word of Wisdom? Is it a hot drink that LDS members should not be involved with?
We carefully checked and double-checked the ingredients, consulted with Dr. Miller about them, and prayerfully considered all the implications of offering an herbal tea to our LDS friends before launching our business four years ago.
After our research, we felt confident that MyMiracle Tea is in perfect harmony with our Heavenly Father’s laws of health, and that it is actually a precious gift from Him for helping people get healthy and stay healthy in a lovely natural way.
Based upon the success of LDS customers who continue to purchase from us, its benefits are true blessings for many, especially for constipation and stomach issues.
We wish it were not called a tea. Perhaps herbal “remedy” or “tonic” or just “herbal drink” would be a better name for it, and in our continuing business development, we may take on that angle for our LDS friends and customers.
Of course, herbs have been used for thousands of years where chemically based medicines were not available. Surely the LDS pioneers used them!
Think about it: the only way to ingest these herbs for therapeutic use would be through making a brew, tonic or in other words, a tea!
It does not contain caffeine, nor is it habit-forming in any way as many users of the tea drink it only occasionally when they want a little cleansing, or are experiencing discomfort from stomach, digestive issues, allergy flare-ups, etc.
Here’s More Information From the Ensign and LDS.org
From The Ensign and LDS.org is this information about herbal tea and the Word of Wisdom for constipation and health challenges.
QUESTION: According to the Word of Wisdom which herbal teas are acceptable to drink?
ANSWER: The official LDS Church doctrine states that drinking tea is against the Word of Wisdom. Under the Gospel Topic of Word of Wisdom at LDS.org it states:
“The best course is to completely avoid the substances that the Lord prohibits in the Word of Wisdom.”
But to clarify, herbal tea is not against the Word of Wisdom, although we have been cautioned: “Some people enjoy herbal teas, but even these should not replace more nutritious drinks in the diet” (Lora Beth Larson, “he Do’s in the Word of Wisdom,” Ensign Apr. 1977, p. Ensign, Apr 1977, 46.)
The following types of tea made from the tea plant are NOT herbal teas:
The ingredients for Dr. Miller’s MyMiracle tea do not contain any of these plants!
(Please note that some people define “green tea” as any herbal tea)
Herbal Tea and the Word of Wisdom
In D&C 89 it reads: Verily, I say unto you, all wholesome herbs God hath ordained for the constitution, nature and use of man – Every herb in the season thereof, and every fruit in the season thereof; all these to be used with prudence and thanksgiving. (D&C 89: 10-11)
For me that says that herbs are meant to be used to benefit the body and nature of man – by nature I take this means the natural functions of the human body.
The tea cleanses the colon, which in turn cleanses the blood and liver. Then the clean blood blesses all organs and functions. This herbal product benefits the “nature of man” in this regard.
The Book of Mormon Has Another Interesting Reference
“And there were some who died with fevers, which at some seasons of the year were very frequent in the land – but not so much with fevers, because of the excellent qualities of the many plants and roots which God had prepared to remove the cause of diseases, to which men were subject by the nature of the climate.“ (Alma 46:40)
From Tracy Horowitz, a user of the tea:
I have always known that Heavenly Father has provided a way for mankind to care for all manner of illness. I’ve also known that I needed more knowledge than what I understood and even still don’t understand.
I attended massage therapist school and became a certified massage therapist to gain a greater knowledge of how the body can heal and repair itself. With all my personal medical problems I had experienced, I was greatly frustrated with the medical profession and knew that there was a better way to heal my body.
So, with guidance by the spirit, I learned about nutrition and healing modalities that were natural and non-invasive. Many of my medical conditions disappeared with my own experimentation of different modalities.
I was still concerned that I had much to learn, especially in trying to help other people. In doing my family history research, I came across my great grandfather on my mother’s side, I learned he was a medicine man for a tribe of Indians in Oklahoma.
He used herbs and natural remedies to treat many illnesses, so I became intrigued with learning about natural healing remedies used by the peoples of ancient America.
Then, while reading the Meridian Magazine online, I came across your column concerning this herbal tea. I dug a little deeper into Dr. Miller’s websites and researched the herbs and found myself determined to give it a try. So I purchased a week supply and started it on a weekend, (which is a very good idea to do).
I have now been using this tea for two weeks and the improvements in my overall health have been dramatic. My menopause symptoms have all disappeared! No more hot flashes, night sweats, inability to sleep all night, irritability problems…nothing!
That alone has been a significant improvement in my life! I have suffered for many years with rashes on my hands and every time that I make strawberry jam my hands break out with an unsightly rash that lasts for weeks BUT after using the tea for two weeks it seems that strawberries have no effect on my hands any longer! The skin on my hands feels as soft as silk and there are no rashes any where.
I can go on and on about the little differences that I am noticing as a result partaking of this tea. I’m telling everyone that I care about to try this tea to improve their own health.
I greatly appreciate your sharing this product via your column. Otherwise I never would have known about it. Thank you.
