Hi there! Happy End of Summer! Happy Long Weekend!
We’re sad to see the end of September knocking at the door, but who doesn’t love the fresh breezes of September?? Some people call it “The New January” for fresh starts of all kinds of things, and we agree! Here’s a little something to help you with your fresh start: Our 10% Off Sale! CLICK HERE!
We hope you had a great week and have something fun planned for the weekend. Ourtrip to Louisiana for flood relief last weekend was just AMAZING! An article will be published next week at Meridian Magazine, and I’ll send you the link.
Suffice it to say that we saw things to break your heart, and met people to make your spirit soar! Basically every home had to be emptied of everything, and then sheetrock and carpeting, and cabinets …. removed and stripped to the studs. Everything. Then it all had to be hauled and piled in the front yard.
No one knew when things would be picked up. These were not shacks, but lovely homes with lovely furnishings that had been well cared for. One and all professed the same thing: “The best things in life AREN’T THINGS!” So inspiring! And how true-true-true it is. Here’s a collection of my photos:
Here’s a YOUTUBE video of the Denham Springs LA we worked in:
Stay tuned for my article and experience! It was wonderful, beautiful and inspiring … and FUN. (Even our homeowners laughed and smiled with us …)
OK! I got an email from Cindy that her freebie capsules had gotten crushed in the mail. If that happened to you, please let me know as a reply to this newsletter, and we’ll send a replacement :0)
Today’s health tip is SO important that I found an e-book magazine download for us! It’s especially important if you are lazer-focused as I am, on calcium, bone strength and osteoperosis. Have a fun and safe weekend!
Yippyity-Yay and Heidi-Ho! Nancy, Mary Beth, Karen and Bonnie!
This week I did a phone interview with Nicole Henry at www.creatinghealthybabies.com . Nicole started out as a massage therapist, and then has developed specialties in foot reflexology, Reiki, and emotional support for sufferers of PTSD. Her real specialty, though is assisting babies and toddlers (though she takes clients of all ages) with extreme digestive distress and disorders.
Though not a physician, she has an incredible rate of success in helping her people through diet … and … you guessed it … the TEA! If you or a loved one — especially a baby or child, is struggling with stomach pain, vomiting, digestive distress, or eating, I highly recommend reaching out to her at her website: www.creatinghealthybabies.com I’m working on an article about her and will send the link when it gets published.
Another phone conversation with Jzaneen (pronounced like Janine) was also so interesting. She told me that she is a cancer survivor (double mastectomy in 2013) and a diabetic. The surgery and treatments were so demanding that she lost her ability to walk and had to relearn. After all the complications caused her weight to plummet, then soar. When it reached nearly 250, she was especially aggravated and seemed totally stuck at 246. Then a friend suggested the tea. She is now down 33 pounds and feeling GREAT! She feels that the tea is the catalyst for her body to start moving forward and restoring itself after the trauma of the surgery and the cancer. Thanks so much for sharing, Jzaneen!!!!!
If you have a story you’d like to share, be sure and let me know, and I’ll send you an extra 2 packages :0)
Magnesium and Calcium … Who KNEW???
|A lovely lady in Oregon named Ginny was also introduced to the tea by a friend. When she called about her order, I learned she was 90! (She sure didn’t sound 90! I was shocked.)
She told me that her health (and SKIN) have been so amazing through the years, that people are constantly asking her what she does for her health, so she finally published a little book.
I couldn’t WAIT to get a copy of it (it’s self-published, and I think you have to know her to get it — but if you’re interested, I’ll ask)
It came last week, and the title is “Ginny’s Guide To Living to 90”. With a picture of her at age 19, and at age 90! So fun.
It includes her lists of supplements, health and ATTITUDE tips that make her a rock-star. I haven’t had a chance to check it all out, but most important to me (with my osteoperosis)was about MAGNESIUM and CALCIUM.
Ginny’s book has a big section on the value of magnesium, especially as it relates to calcium in the body. Magnesium helps to manage bones, heart health, blood sugar, blood pressure and more. My research on the internet led to pages and pages to document this. The body needs MAGNESIUM first in order to assimilate CALCIUM. Now, an overload of Magnesium is not really a problem, but an overload of Calcium IS.
There’s far too much to print or copy from Ginny’s book here, so with a prayer, I found an online mini-magazine e-book that will help us all understand the correlation between magesium and calcium. CLICK HERE. This is from the same author as Ginny’s book.
This is all new for me, but personally criticaally important as genetically based Osteoperosis is a full-blown issue for me. Now in my early 60’s I’ve had it for years. It was a big part of my mom’s being bed-ridden the last 5-8 years of her life, so I challenge myself every day with exercise and supplements.
Has anyone ever talked to me about magnesium? In all these years? Not a whisper. With the hopes that I can be as strong and health and happy as Ginny, not to mention assist others, I hope you’ll download this little magazine and see if it’s something that is important for you.
Well, it’s time for me to SCOOT! And you, too. Thanks as always, for being a dear tea friend. Enjoy the long weekend! Do something fun and healthy, because believe it or not, they are one and the same!
