You can read Part I of this amazing information HERE. I jump fifteen minutes almost every day using a particular cycle I learned from Barbara O'Neil.
Triggering HGH: Maybe you've heard about the incredible difference it makes to trigger the Human Growth Hormone?
Called HGH for short, this hormone is what helped us to grow as kids. It diminishes and almost vanishes when our bodies approach maturity, BUT it can be kindled and triggered AT ANY AGE for weight loss and overall health ... if you challenge your body with a certain intensity cycle of activity called HIIT training. (High Intensity Interval Training.)
I first learned about the weight loss benefits of HIIT years and years ago from a Tea friend whose wife wanted to lose 50 pounds with an upcoming wedding. She started diligently drinking the Tea, doing HIIT on a treadmill and lost the weight much more easily than with calorie reduction and exercise alone. It all worked together and was a long-term turning point for her weight and health! Woot!
Many people will recommend HIIT be done every other day, but when you start to feel the benefits, there's nothing wrong with spending 15 minutes every day and getting a daily dose of your own, all-natural HGH, as Barbara explains in this video.

HIIT means that you basically GO-GO-GO for 30-60 seconds to get your heart rate up to maximum spead very quickly, and then SLOW-SLOW-SLOW for 90 seconds, dropping the heart rate just as quickly, thus creating a 2 to 3 minute cycle that is repeated.
Four to six cycles is the recommended pattern.
You can do those 4 to 6 cycles of any exercise from walking, using a treadmill, on a trampoline, whatever is easy and convenient -- and reasonably and personally enjoyable to encourage consistency.
There are variations online and with personal trainers that are more complicated, but for me, six cycles of two minutes each takes so little time that it's very do-able and easy. AND FUN.
I think it WORKS and we CAN trigger HGH! And it's absolutely FREE!
I have been doing my HGH training on my trampoline for several months now and can feel the difference. The weight loss I'm currently experiencing is, I know, directly related to this new habit. As a fun bonus, both the bouncing and weight loss are FUN!
My Easy HIIT Mini-Tramp Workout: I have a large clock with a second hand to time myself and warm up by gently bouncing for 1-2 minutes. Then when the second hand hits the 12, I GO-GO-GO by jogging madly, waving my arms and becoming breathless while getting my heart rate up ASAP. I saying "Higher! Faster! Harder!" to myself.
When the second hand hits the 6, I immediately drop my pace and bounce/walk in place for 90 seconds, gradually increasing in intensity with each 30 seconds. When the second hits the 12 again, I GO-GO-GO again!
(I'm also busy multi-tasking and watching my Youtube videos, so to keep track of my cycles, I start with holding 6 small wooden beads in my hand. I throw one down with each completed cycle until I've done all six)
Then, after repeating all 6 cycles, I cool down for a bit with another minute or two of gentle bouncing! Now, I've also started doing some strength training every day for 15 mintues with hand weights after jumping, but that's a different article for another time.
While this might seem like a lot, in truth it's only 30 minutes or so and I don't have to go to they gym! And I'm getting results!
AS A BONUS ... MY "RICE-ZEMPIC" TONIC
IMPORTANT: I'm not a green tea drinker, so I substitute 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and have grown to quite enjoy this unique blend.
You can watch Dr. Mandell HERE and he'll explain the value of the different components. He has a number of different herbal infusion/tonics. I've put my recipe together from listening to several of his videos for my recipe below:
Carolyn's Morning "Rice-Zempic" Tonic
2 Tbsp. of white or brown rice
3-4 dashes of cayenne pepper
1 tsp. cinnamon
Juice of 1/2 lemon (I squeeze it, then chop it loosely to get all the benefits)
1 inch of ginger, peeled and sliced. (You can use ground ginger, but fresh is better, healthier and has more flavor.)
While the water heats, add all the ingredients in a cup. Pour 8 to 10 oz. of boiling water and let it steep for 5 minutes. Stir several times to mix.
You can strain it if desired, or just let everything sit at the bottom while you drink it.
Add some honey if desired and enjoy!
We're all short on time and sometimes it's hard to spend the time to exercise, eat and drink healthy foods, but the truth is, if we DON'T make the effort now, it will be TOO LATE later! And oh, how we all want and need to make things easier for ourselves and our family for the years ahead.
